Terms of Use
These terms cover the Kirid iOS app. Kirid is an on-device family recipe archive. It does not create an account and does not sync recipes to a Kirid server.
The archive
You can photograph or import a recipe, crop it, type a title, ingredients, servings, steps, a source note, and tags, preview archive cards, and generate a PNG card set. Preview does not spend a Card Credit. Confirming Generate Cards spends 1 Card Credit only after the PNG files are written on this device. If generation is cancelled or the save fails, that Card Credit is not spent and no finished card is kept.
Card Credits
Card Credits are consumable in-app purchases sold by Apple. The shop lists eight gift packs and treasure chests at $0.99, $2.99, $9.99, $19.99, $29.99, $49.99, $69.99, and $99.99. The pack page states how many Card Credits that pack adds. A completed, verified purchase adds only that pack’s credits on this installation. A cancelled or unverified purchase does not. The first time you open Recipe Vault, after the notification prompt, Kirid offers a New User Gift Pack of 10 Card Credits. Those 10 credits are added only if you tap Claim, and only once on this installation unless you clear all data. Credits are not a subscription and are not restored after they are used. A refund from Apple reduces only the unused part of that purchase. Clearing all data erases any credits still on this device. Buying credits does not by itself create a recipe card.
Your content
Recipes, original photos, cropped images, and generated cards stay in the app’s private storage on this device. Save Image, when you allow it, also writes a copy into your photo library. Export on the shopping list shares text you choose to send through the system share sheet.
Clear All Data
Clear All Data permanently deletes recipes, original photos, archive cards, shopping checks, and remaining Card Credits on this installation, then returns you to the opening screen. It does not delete photos you already saved to the photo library.
Acceptable use
Use Kirid for recipes you have the right to keep. Do not use it to break the law or to misuse Apple’s purchase system.
Availability
Kirid is provided as-is. Camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition depend on this device and on the permissions you choose. Card Credits depend on the App Store. Kirid may stop working if the device, the operating system, or the App Store changes.
